Fence Posts

The mayor of McCool, in his mayor address in the columns of the "McCool Lyre", wishes to point out to some of his fellow citizens that he has it on the authority of the Department of Agriculture that is it not quite wise, so late in the season, to sink fence posts and then expect wire to grow on them.
Fence posts, to produce a good crop of wire, should be started in a hot bed early in March. They should then be ready to set out (in a single row and about a rod apart in the row) by the first of April.
